  • Google vernieuwt indeling Maps-app voor Android

    Google wijzigt de indeling van zijn kaarten-app voor Android. Drie nieuwe tabbladen moeten extra informatie toegankelijk maken.

    Google gaat een virtuele stippellijn toevoegen aan looproutes in Google Maps, maakt het bedrijf donderdag bekend op zijn blog. Met de functie, die werkt met Street View, kunnen gebruikers hun camera openen en de route volgen aan de hand van stippen.

  • Nooit meer je auto kwijt met nieuwe Google Maps-functie

    Google gaat deze een handige tool toevoegen aan Google Maps.

    Uit een analyse van Android Police blijkt dat Google Maps een uitzonderlijke handige nieuwe functie krijgt. In versie 9.49 (beta) van Maps is het mogelijk om de locatie van je auto te registreren. Zo vergeet je nooit meer waar je je auto hebt geparkeerd.

     

    Daar houdt het daarentegen natuurlijk niet op, want naast de locatie opslaan, kun je notities maken en kun je zelfs instellen hoelang je nog mag parkeren. Zodra de ingestelde tijd op is, krijg je een melding. Tot ziens, parkeerboetes!
